The goal for this project was to design a contemporary and edgy, yet fun and approachable logo + brand identity for Flemming Interiors. The logo was to be more delicate looking than big and bold, but also needed to stand on it’s own over the organic, black and white hero image. The branding needed to be hip and professional, giving Stephanie the tools she needed to confidently show off her work and impress new clients.
The Flemming Interiors brand style is a fun mix of black, white and gold typography and textures. It’s bold and edgy while still elegant, professional and fresh. It uses a delicate, sans serif type for the logo and brand typography, as well as a handwritten script for an accent.
By adding the additional type treatment, like the natural and modern script, dimension is added to the brand and shows off the playful and fun side of Flemming Interiors. The script font makes the business appear friendly and approachable while the delicate sans serif gives the brand a polished and professional look.
